Don't Shoot centers on the gripping journey of four men who escaped a brutal political detention camp. Initially thwarted in their escape attempt, they are betrayed by those they trusted. With no safety left, they must craft a new escape plan, one requiring harrowing choices, survival instincts, and confronting moral boundaries: “kill or be killed” .

Inkaba Creative Art House is proud to take its critically acclaimed production “Don’t Shoot” on a powerful journey across the continent. The Africa Tour 2025 marks a bold step in our mission to share raw, homegrown stories with audiences beyond our borders.

Following its successful run in South Africa, Don’t Shoot will travel to key cultural cities in Malawi, Kenya, and Rwanda, engaging new audiences with a theatrical experience that blends emotion, resistance, and truth. Each performance will be more than just a show, it will be a platform for dialogue, healing, and African solidarity.
